Amidst the still raging power struggle between title contenders Red Bull Racing and Mercedes, questions regarding the dispersion of cold air in the Mercedes engine have become the latest bone of contention. Christian Horner however assures that his team got the information about the competitor's engine in a completely legitimate way.
On the grid at Zandvoort, Horner is asked if the info in question might have come from one of the staff who recently made the switch to Red Bull. "You know it would be completely illegal to do something like that, so of course not," Horner states firmly in front of the microphone of Sky Sports.
"But it's not Red Bull that has set all this in motion," the British team boss continued. "I think there are a few other manufacturers who have noticed some things that they are just asking for clarification on, which is perfectly normal."

Clarification

"We've asked a few questions through the technical forums, which we just expect some clarification on. It's part of the protocol of Formula 1," Horner concluded.
