Jeremy Clarkson has had his say on the recnt rumours that pointed to Christian Horner being extricated from his role at Red Bull Racing as team boss, and he finds one particular culpable party: the media.
The notorious British personality questioned the veracity of the claims, which GPblog dismissed as fabrication, by looking at other cases reported on the media as fact, pertaining to high profile figures such as former footballer and ex-Spice Girl, David and Victoria Beckham's family, Hollywood powerhouse actor Tom Cruise, and mogul and President of the United States, Donald Trump, but more importantly, himself.
In his column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson said: “What do you know? Seriously. What can you be absolutely certain is a fact? Last week, for instance, we were told that there’s an enormous rift in the Beckham family."
“We were also told that Christian Horner, the boss of Red Bull, has been sacked. Is any of this tittle-tattle remotely accurate? Well, to work that out, I’ve looked at the week’s coverage of a subject on which I’m something of an expert: me."

Clarkson on Clarkson: The British celebrity exposes the media's claim on Horner

Will Prince William be a guest on his show "The Grand Tour"? Is Top Gear making a comeback to the BBC? Did he replace tractor driver, Kaleb Cooper? Clarkson prior to addressing these rumours swirling about in the media, came to one simple conclusion: "Literally none of this is true."
After downplaying the media's response to his clarification on said matters, the British TV presenter could 'only deduce' that speculation on the aforementioned figures was simply untrue, and on Horner's situation at Red Bull he was also clear: "Christian Horner still has his job [at Red Bull Racing]."
"In short, that everything I’ve read all week is b****cks,” Clarkson said.
