Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner isn't too concerned about his driver Pierre Gasly finishing outside of the points on his debut for the Bulls, as the Brit thinks Gasly needs time to adapt to the team.
Gasly surprisingly started 17th, a whopping 13 places behind teammate Max Verstappen and even behind both Toro Rosso cars.
During the race, the Frenchman picked up a couple of places but still ended outside of the points, with Daniil Kvyat hanging on for the last point by keeping Gasly at bay for a long portion of the race. Still, Horner tries to remain positive.
"I think he still drove a good race and he showed a good catch-up race," he told Motorsport-Total.
"He had a bit of bad luck yesterday but he wasn't far away from it all weekend."

With Bahrain coming up in two weeks' time, Horner thinks Gasly just needs some better luck during the whole weekend and everything will fall into place. The 22-year-old finished fourth there for Toro Rosso in 2018.
"He just needs a clean weekend, he's actually made a good start this weekend and his feedback is very good.
"We know he's fast, we just have to give the boy a bit of time, he can handle it."
