Hill's expecting a 'special championship': ''You can't develop this year''

For the time being, the 2020 Formula 1 calendar has eight races and is said to be about fifteen. A short season, which will influence the behaviour of the drivers on the track.
From the 5th of July the F1 championship will break loose with the first Grand Prix on Austria, after which the same circuit will be visited again a week later. This will be followed by another six races in Europe, with only two weeks in which there will be no racing. The drivers and teams are therefore expected to be highly concentrated.

Supreme concentration

Because of the amount of races in a short time you would expect more mistakes, but with the small amount of races on the calendar, each mistake also costs a lot more for a driver. So where more concentration is required to cope with the amount of races, this is even more because of the importance of the races.
"The championship will be very special, because you have to deal with a smaller calendar. Every race will be full throttle, because you won't have time to recover. Developing is hardly possible this season, you'll have to be there right away'', says the 1996 world champion at the podcast Race of My Life.
