During the Japanese Grand Prix, F1 world champion, Damon Hill took to X to criticise 'undisciplined drivers' and their messages on the radio, claiming their anger to be 'psychologically revealing'.
In the early stages of the race, Alexander Albon reached out to his team on the onboard radio. The Williams driver was apparently having issues with the gearshifts.
"These shifts are so bad. What have we done to them? It's been **** at the start. It's being **** now!"
When asked for specifity the Thai simply said: "Yeah, the same! The same I've been talking about all the time!"
Verstappen had the same issues but was much calmer despite having a win potentially at stake due to issues with upshifts.
