Hamilton teams up with Brad Pitt: 'I'm very much involved in that'

Lewis Hamilton is closely involved in the new Formula One film being made by Apple. The Brit shines his light on the new film, for which he is working with Brad Pitt.

Apple on Wednesday confirmed rumours that a Formula One movie is being made. This film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski and will star Brad Pitt. The story would focus on an older driver taking on a younger generation. Hamilton is assisting in the production of the film.

''It’s a really cool project, and we’re working on the script for example, very much involved in the script, which is fun. And spending good time with Brad, which is pretty epic, and seeing his progress [in the role],'' Hamilton said at the press conference according to The Race. In addition, the Brit says he is also committed to having a diverse cast and crew with different backgrounds.

''And it’s really about showing how great this sport really is, to people that maybe have never watched it – but also making sure that we really keep the real heritage and the true racing spirit within the movie and within the script. So that’s kind of part of my role,'' the seven-time world champion concludes.
