But definitely, this is a time where every time I get a text message from the lady that’s looking after him my heart stops for a second because I’m like: ‘What’s next?’

The 12-year-old dog appeared unwell in a recent Instagram story, with Hamilton admitting it had been a “scary few hours,” and asking fans to "keep Roscoe in your thoughts and prayers."
Hamilton adopted Roscoe in 2013, and the dog has become a familiar presence around the Formula 1 paddock, often travelling with him to races. Over the years, Roscoe has faced health challenges, and Hamilton has been open about his concern.

Earlier in the season, ahead of the Imola Grand Prix, Hamilton explained how he reacts whenever Roscoe’s carer contacts him.
“He’s doing quite well now. He’s 12-and-a-half years old, so he’s an old boy. He had pneumonia, but he’s fine now fortunately,” he said, among others GPblog.

Hamilton has also shared lighter moments about Roscoe, noting his energy and playful spirit despite his age.
“I really want to try and bring him to Silverstone, and particularly to Monza, this year. Get him a red cape.

"It’s unusual for a bulldog to be as old as he is. I was with him before Miami and he still wants to play. Still got that kind of youthful spirit. He does like to sleep a lot,” he concluded.
Roscoe’s health is clearly worrying Hamilton, and his post shows just how much the dog means to him both on and off the track.
