Hamilton draws hope from Mercedes updates: "New rear wing"

Lewis Hamilton does not expect Mercedes to drastically reduce the going to Ferrari and Red Bull Racing, despite the updates and "experiments" that team boss Toto Wolff says are planned.

As for his expectations of the Miami Grand Prix, he is therefore keeping a low profile. "You can expect that we will give everything and do our best," Hamilton declared during Friday's press conference.

He adds that all the team members at Mercedes are working harder than ever and this is reflected, among other things, in a number of updates the team has brought. "As you can see, we have a new rear wing," the Briton points out.

When asked if he expects to be closer to the current top teams than in recent races, the Mercedes driver cannot give a clear answer. "I'm not going to anticipate on that," Hamilton said.
