Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen will not be present at the FIA press conference ahead of the Formula 1 weekend in Brazil. Both drivers recently attended the pre-race press conferences in Mexico City and Austin, respectively.
Therefore, the
Ferrari and
Red Bull Racing drivers will not take part in the official FIA press conference at
Interlagos before the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The same applies to teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who previously attended the press conference in Mexico. Both drivers will still speak to the media on Thursday during the designated media moments in the paddock.
Hamilton’s teammate Charles Leclerc, however, will make an appearance after announcing
his engagement to his girlfriend, Alexandra Saint Mleux.
Hamilton and Verstappen can still appear at different press conferences
Of course, it is still possible for both drivers to appear in another press conference later this weekend.
Three additional press conferences are scheduled: one on Saturday after the Sprint, another after qualifying, and, as usual, one after the race on Sunday.

It is not yet clear which drivers will be present at Thursday’s press conference. Gabriel Bortoleto is set to compete at his home Grand Prix, but recently attended the press conference in the United States.
Therefore, it is also unclear whether the Sauber driver will attend the press conference or, like the two world champions, take part in his regular media session in the paddock.
