Ferrari have been on the up and up lately with the team accruing better and better performances since the Monaco Grand Prix. Now at Silverstone, the Scuderia's charged seems to be confirmed, Lando Norris believes. Norris led in FP2 ahead of precisely Ferrari. Speaking to Sky Sports, the Briton acknowledged the 'red threat,' which he believes will be ever-present tomorrow as well.
“The soft was a very strong lap but, me being me, I think also in general the Ferraris have been very, very quick today and they shall be tomorrow."

Norris wants improvements from McLaren as the 'scarlet threat' nears
Despite his healthy lead of over two and three tenths over Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in P2 and P3 respectively, not to mention the nearly five tenths he put between himself and teammate Oscar Piastri in P4 and Max Verstappen in P5, Norris still sees room for improvement at
McLaren.
“I think we have a bit of work to do, to be honest. It looks maybe a bit too good today, like always. Ferrari always catch up into P3 (Free Practice 3, ed.), like they did last weekend so I’d say pleased with today but nothing to be too proud about just yet."
Norris looks for the ease in the drive to maximise his performance at his home race at Silverstone.
“Still some trickiness out there, it wasn’t like it flowed quite as easy as what I would have liked. It was a strong lap to do in FP2 but not strong enough at the minute.”
