If the first free practice is an indicator for the rest of the race weekend at Silverstone, then the British Grand Prix is shaping up to be another tough one for Max Verstappen. The Red Bull Racing driver didn't come close to the fastest times, finishing in P10.
Verstappen's gap to Lewis Hamilton's fastest time on the soft tyres was 0.540 seconds. That he was not satisfied with his car was clearly conveyed over the team radio by the four-time world champion.
Grumbling, Verstappen said: "I don't know, it just doesn't turn at low speed, and then any high speed, it's either big snaps, pile of understeer."
Shortly after, he exclaimed 'Unbelievable' over the radio, referring to the difficulties of the Red Bull Racing car.
