Isack Hadjar has provided an update on his pursuit of the still-to-be-decided Red Bull seat for 2026.
"I've always wanted to, since I joined the Red Bull program, it was always to be a Red Bull driver"

When asked by GPblog whether he has already communicated his preference to the team for next season, Hadjar said: "Yes. Obviously. I've always wanted to, since I joined the Red Bull program, it was always to be a Red Bull driver."
When asked how quickly he thinks he could adapt to a completely different environment like the Red Bull ecosystem, Hadjar added: "(It's) a very different exercise. It's not comparable, so I don't know."
Finally, when asked how important the next two weeks are ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix — a possible date for Red Bull to make its final decision regarding its 2026 line-up — the Frenchman admitted he isn’t aware of any such plans.

"I didn't know that. Honestly, it doesn't change my approach at all. I've been saying it for a million times, like maybe a lot of talking, but when you're trapped in the car and I drive, I really don't think about something else than just doing the best I can do. So that's it."

Marko sees room for improvements in Hadjar amid Red Bull rumors

As Red Bull continues to weigh its options on who will partner Max Verstappen next season, Helmut Marko recently spoke about the areas where Isack Hadjar can still improve — despite what has been an impressive rookie campaign so far.
The Frenchman has collected 39 points to date, playing a key role alongside his teammate in Racing Bulls’ strong run to sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship.

While Marko is a clear admirer of Hadjar’s talent, he believes the youngster “is still learning” and needs to take a few more steps forward.
