Full results: Russell and Norris give surprise many in qualifying

Max Verstappen has conquered pole position again. In Austria he was the fastest for the third time in a row. Lando Norris finished second and Sergio Perez third.

No Mercedes on the podium during qualifying. For the race, this means that Lewis Hamilton (P4) and Valtteri Bottas (P5) have a lot of work to do. Max Verstappen was actually fastest during the session. Perez did fine with the two cars of Mercedes and so ends up even ahead of Hamilton and Bottas.

An extremely good performance by the Brit, who managed to get into Q3 and even managed to secure P9 ahead of Lance Stroll. Ferrari did not have the best day and will start from P11 and P12 tomorrow. Ricciardo also disappointed by finishing 13th.
