Full Results | Antonelli wins the Canadian Grand Prix after Russell's DNF

After a fierce battle, George Russell's car stopped on track on Lap 31 of the Canadian Grand Prix. Antonelli brought his Mercedes home to claim his fourth victory in a row this season. As a result, he now leads the drivers' standings by 43 points. The young Italian also added another record to his name, as he became the first driver to claim all four of his first victories in Formula 1 in succession.

After being unsatisfied with the RB22 on Saturday, Verstappen secured his first podium of the season in Canada, finishing third behind Hamilton after a strong battle between the two world champions in Montreal. This was the Briton's second podium with the Scuderia in 2026.

Despite a difficult weekend, Charles Leclerc finished in fourth place ahead of Isack Hadjar. It also highlights Mercedes' dominance, as the Red Bull driver was lapped by Kimi Antonelli today.

Franco Colapinto scored his best result with Alpine and finished sixth. Liam Lawson scored points for Racing Bulls after finishing seventh. Pierre Gasly finished eighth ahead of Williams' Carlos Sainz and Haas' Oliver Bearman.

McLaren had a day to forget at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. After starting on intermediates, their strategy was immediately compromised as their gamble did not pay off. Lando Norris was then running inside the points before a mechanical issue forced him to retire. Oscar Piastri also had a difficult day. After crashing into Alexander Albon, he was handed a ten-second time penalty and eventually finished only 11th.

A total of six drivers retired from today's Canadian Grand Prix. Alongside Norris and Russell, Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso and Albon also did not finish the race. Arvid Lindblad did not start after his car stalled on the grid following the first formation lap.
