Robin Frijns is one of the standout drivers in the ever-growing Formula E series. However, he is yet to get a home race but this is something he is hopeful will come to fruition in the future.
Frijns is in his fourth season in Formula E and achieved his best finish last season, finishing fourth in the Drivers' Championship. He won two races, the Paris and New York ePrix.
He's one of two Dutch drivers in Formula E, alongside Nyck de Vries. Formula 1 will have a Dutch race this season but the all-electric series is yet to get one, something Frijns hopes for in the future.
“That would be a dream," Frijns told Motorsport.com on the possibility of a Dutch Formula E race.
"As a driver you always want to have a home race. Eindhoven is an hour away from my house, so that would be nice.

“It would be great if Eindhoven itself, as the first city of lights itself, could hold the very first night competition or evening competition. That could be a historic moment.
“I want to do it in the middle of the city because that is what creates the experience. So not on an industrial site or something."
