Not everyone was enthusiastic about last month's F1 75 event that opened the season. Among the drivers, Max Verstappen was particularly unhappy, partly due to the audience's booing him and his team. Nevertheless, Formula 1 seems to be seriously considering having the event return annually, and whether this will happen is to be decided very soon according to F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
Overall, the Formula 1 drivers reacted fairly enthusiastically after the F1 75 event. Domenicali was also incredibly satisfied with how everything went. "I think that has been a great success," he told Sky Sports. "Showing the platform, also to convince the more sceptical ones, that F1 has to think big."

Domenicali spoke positively on the idea of making the event an annual phenomenon. Although he admits that there are a lot of interests at play, so he cannot make the decision on his own. "If it’s happening every year is something we need to discuss."
The CEO does seem to have some good news for Max Verstappen, who, according to his father Jos, would no longer show up at such an event if organised again in the UK, as different countries seem to be interested in hosting a live event. "For sure, there is a lot of interest from different promoters from different places in the world, that would like to, let’s say, consider it as a 25th Grand Prix to launch the season. We’re going to make the decision very, very soon.”
