Just over two hours before the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort gets underway, the first change to the starting grid has been confirmed, with Sergio Perez set to start from the pit lane after Cadillac made changes to the rear suspension of his car under parc fermé conditions. The Mexican had already been moved from the grid to the pit lane shortly before the start of Saturday's Sprint race, and he will face the same fate again today after Cadillac made changes to his suspension. Such modifications are not permitted under parc fermé conditions once qualifying has concluded.
It will hardly make much difference for the former Red Bull driver, however,
as he qualified 22nd and second-last on Saturday, just behind teammate Valtteri Bottas. Cadillac was therefore already set to occupy the final row of the grid before Perez's pit-lane start was confirmed.
At the moment, no other drivers are expected to change their starting positions. Should there be any further changes to the grid, this article will be updated accordingly.
