Formula 1 fans beware: FIA warns of fake tickets in Miami

The FIA is warning Formula One fans to be wary of a company that scams people by selling hospitality packages for Formula One Grands Prix.

The FIA recently discovered that a company called Foresea Ltd was sending emails offering hospitality packages for Formula 1 Grands Prix, the motorsport organisation announced today.

These offers were designed to mislead potential customers by sending letters that appeared to come from the FIA. The letters contained the name and logo of the FIA, names of FIA staff members and logos of the FIA Formula One World Championship and Formula One itself.

The FIA stresses that Foresea Ltd is not authorised by the FIA or other FIA-related companies. The organisation calls for these letters to be ignored.
