Beganovic is currently competing in his second full season in Formula 2 and has won three races over the past two years. He is currently fifth in the drivers' standings in the feeder series.
He has already taken part in several free practice sessions for Ferrari during Grand Prix weekends. In 2025, he drove the SF-25 in Bahrain and Austria. He also drove Ferrari's '26 car in Barcelona and Austria.
