Verstappen fans achieve long-awaited goal during Belgian GP weekend

The Belgian Grand Prix didn’t see Max Verstappen reach the podium for the third time in a row, but the Dutch driver still claimed a significant achievement in Saturday’s sprint race by holding off the two McLarens behind him.

Although he didn’t make the podium, Verstappen remains the most sought-after driver both in the paddock and on social media.

Two of the Dutch driver’s fans successfully completed their mission this weekend—a mission that had Verstappen himself at the center of it and was promptly shared on social media.

The footage captures supporters going to great lengths to obtain a cushion emblazoned with Verstappen’s image and personally signed by the four-time world champion.

The cushion is seen making its way through various hands and locations before ultimately reaching Verstappen himself. Watch the video below.

Max Verstappen didn't manage to finish higher than fourth place at Spa-Francorchamps. The Dutch driver gambled with his setup on rain, which did come eventually.

But the start of the race was delayed so much that Verstappen couldn't get past Leclerc. However, the Dutchman was realistic about his race after the ending.
