Laurent Mekies replaced the Briton as the CEO and team principal, and his successor as director is also known. Stefan Salzer will take on this role next at Red Bull Racing.

Red Bull rumours about Verstappen's teammate

Ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, on the media day, Max Verstappen confirmed he will stay with Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season.
Currently, no driver has a contract for the seat alongside the Dutchman. According to ESPN, the decision has already been made that Liam Lawson will not get another chance at Red Bull, after he was replaced with Yuki Tsunoda two Grands Prix into the '25 campaign.
What seems to be the most obvious decision is that the New Zealander will remain with Racing Bulls, where he will be Arvid Lindblad's teammate in 2026.

Mercedes drivers are enjoying their holidays

In his caption, the Mercedes driver wrote: "Missing racing, enjoying holidays."
A day ago, Mercedes CEO and team principal Toto Wolff was also pictured with Max Verstappen on the Italian island.
Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli ran into a mishap during his holidays. The Italian's jet ski ran out of fuel.
