Red Bull Racing sign Aston Martin engineer Tom McCullough
McCullough spent a decade at the Silverstone-based team through its Force India, Racing Point and Aston Martin eras, rising to performance director and becoming a key figure in trackside operations.
His arrival at Red Bull follows Gianpiero Lambiase’s switch to McLaren and comes as the champions reorganize their race engineering structure ahead of new regulations and the Red Bull Ford power-unit project.

Ferrari unveil Schumacher tribute as Hamilton and Leclerc face Monza test
Ferrari will run a Schumacher-inspired livery at Monza, echoing the team’s 1996 design and featuring seven stars to mark his seven world titles, five of them with the Scuderia. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will also wear special racesuits for the home race.
Hamilton said Ferrari must “turn up the heat” in the second half of the season, while former team engineer Rob Smedley urged the team to prioritize maximizing Hamilton’s points haul to strengthen its championship push.

Hamilton, now in his first season with Ferrari, has leaned into the brand’s heritage off track as well, revealing a freshly restored Ferrari F40 that he says sat untouched in a garage for over three decades.
He took the car to Maranello, where factory engineers spent weeks reviving the rare model, calling the project a dream come true.
F1’s new Madrid circuit hit by cable theft just days before Spanish Grand Prix

Police are probing the theft of roughly 300 meters of electrical cable from the new Madring circuit, discovered Sunday in a tunnel where lines linked to generators were taken.
While no arrests have been reported and there’s no public sign the race is at risk, the incident adds to scrutiny on a venue that saw 19 red flags during a recent two-day Formula 3 test.
Madrid’s track blends street-style sections with permanent stretches around the IFEMA complex and features 22 corners, including the banked La Monumental.
