Porpoising remains a recurring problem in Bahrain

The Bahrain test days got underway on Thursday. Where the teams were already plenty worried about porpoising in Barcelona, this week had not diminished it. Some teams already found a solution, others still have an important task ahead of them.
The bouncing cars created by the new regulations could also be detected again in Bahrain. Yet there were already teams that found a solution to the problem. For example, Ferrari still had to deal with porpoising in Spain, but the Italian racing team seems to have found the solution by now.
However, other teams may be more concerned about the situation, including Mercedes. For example, George Russell was rocking his car quite a bit on the straights in the afternoon, and this was clearly to the detriment of the floor. Other teams, such as Red Bull Racing, also got the message that the problem is still not a thing of the past.

Teams have less and less time

With over a week to go before the first race, time is running out for the teams. It is unclear for now what the reason of the teams is that they are still suffering from porpoising. What is certain, however, is that they need to find a solution soon.
