McLaren continued their dominance at the Dutch Grand Prix, albeit with just one car finishing the race at the Zandvoort circuit. However, Ferrari appeared the biggest losers both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc recording their first DNFs of the season with the Italian outfit. McLaren kicked off the race with 559 points, with Ferrari following in second place on 260 points. The first-place finish for
Oscar Piastri means the Woking-based outfit leaves Zandvoort with 584 points.
For Scuderia Ferrari, the Italian team lost further ground in their pursuit of second place, as both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton suffered crashes during the race.
At Mercedes, Leclerc and George Russell were involved in an incident, with the latter losing time as a result. Kimi Antonelli, however, managed to finish in the points for the team, albeit he was handed a 10-second penalty for his collision with Lewis Hamilton.
Max Verstappen brought
Red Bull Racing closer to the front-runners with a podium finish in front of his home crowd.
