Oscar Piastri set the pace at the end of FP2, with the Australian finishing ahead of a brilliant Isack Hadjar and Max Verstappen, who took third just in front of Fernando Alonso’s Aston Martin — the Spaniard backing up his strong showing from FP1.
Lando Norris ended the session in fifth but was caught up in a major clash with Charles Leclerc as the Ferrari driver came out of the pits, completely ignoring him and sending the Brit into the wall. Both George Russell and Liam Lawson also saw their sessions end early after separate incidents.
