Kimi Antonelli has secured victory at the British GP Sprint, finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris.
The young Italian lined up in P2 ahead of the 17-lap race, overtaking Hamilton to convert that into more important points in the F1 standings.
A breathless start to the Sprint saw Lando Norris move up to P3 from sixth, while fellow Brit George Russell became entangled in an battle with Max Verstappen for P4.
On Lap 8, with energy deployment crucial at Silverstone, Antonelli - closing in on Hamilton from the very start - finally took his chance to move into P1. Two laps later, Russell and Verstappen's battle saw Charles Leclerc get involved, the Monegasque getting ahead of the Red Bull driver for P5.

Behind the podium spots, Antonelli's Mercedes teammate Russell crossed the line in fourth, ahead of Leclerc and Verstappen respectively, to make up the front six.
Rounding up the final points positions were Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson in P7 and P8, respectively.
