The
Australian Grand Prix had a convincing winner with
Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque managed to put in such a strong performance that he receives no less than 10 points in the F1 Power Rankings, making him by far the best of the weekend.
There was no doubt in the minds of the judges that Leclerc would get the full points, according to
Formula1.com. Not only did he manage to secure pole position, he also won the race and picked up the fastest race lap. Leclerc didn't get into any trouble during the GP, so he was quite convincing.
However, they were equally impressed with
Alexander Albon. The driver, who is given a 9.4 by the judges for his performance, managed to secure the tenth final position, bringing in his first point.
Lando Norris follows in third place with an 8.6.
Verstappen finishes in fifth position
Despite
Max Verstappen's dropout, he receives an 8.2, which puts him in fifth place behind
George Russell.
Sergio Perez and
Lewis Hamilton also receive that mark, which means that the Dutchman does have to share his position. Fernando Alonso (8.0),
Daniel Ricciardo (7.8) and
Valtteri Bottas (7.6) complete the top ten. By the numbers, Leclerc remains at the top of the standings with a score of 9.67, while Verstappen follows in second place with an 8.73.
