Coronavirus in Australia: FIA F1 and Australian organisation still in consultation

It's midnight in Australia, but we're having what could be the biggest talking points of the weekend. McLaren have withdrawn from the Grand Prix, but the question is whether the rest of the field should continue?
The Formula 1 organisation has said they will put the safety of all people first in a statement. But everyone seems to be in the dark about what will happen. Where big sports like the NBA, Formula E and MotoGP have postponed the competition long beforehand, F1 leaves it until the last moment.

Still in consultation

Everyone is already in Australia and that has its consequences. Australian Grand Prix CEO Andrew Westacott informs Motorsport.com that eight staff have been tested for COVID-19 and one has been tested outside of Formula 1 teams. Of those tests, only the McLaren staff member was positive.
The FIA, Formula 1 and the Australian organization are currently discussing whether the Grand Prix can still take place. "The AGPC will provide updates as more details become available. We are in close contact with F1 and FIA and will quickly determine the next steps," said Westacott.
