Button: 'Between Verstappen and Hamilton, Max has the most talent'

The 2021 season will be the first in which Max Verstappen can really fight for the title. In recent years, Red Bull Racing have always had to make up ground, but this year they seem to have things in order from the very first race. Verstappen has also shown that he is capable of challenging Lewis Hamilton.

He did so at Imola in the first corner and again in Barcelona. He braked later than Hamilton and let his car run to the exit of the corner, forcing Hamilton to slow down. Jenson Button sees the Dutchman doing this very cleverly. "Max is immensely talented. If you look at pure ability, Verstappen is probably the most talented of all the drivers," Button acknowledged to Motorsport.com.

Button is aware that not everyone thinks this way about the Dutchman. "I know a lot of people won't agree with me, but this is just my opinion." Button does note that experience also plays a big role.

"The most complete driver, if you include experience and the way you approach races, is Hamilton. But if you only look at talent, you end up with Verstappen," Button said.
