Valtteri Bottas was involved in a crash with Sebastian Vettel in the very first corner of the French Grand Prix, and as the Finn got hit by Vettel from behind, he feels like he didn't do anything wrong.
Bottas eventually limited the damage by finishing in sixth after having to pit in the first lap. That was because Vettel had punctured his Mercedes's tyre. He got down to P18, but fought back during the rest of the race.
"We were going side by side to the braking zone," Bottas told Sky Sports F1 when analyzing the crash.
"I went for the outside and I think I braked quite a bit later and left enough room for him to be inside still.
"He just went wide and hit me.

"I got a puncture and decent damage to the floor, which really compromised the race."
It certainly did, but somehow Vettel still got elected Driver of the Day by the F1. Weird, isn't it?
