Both Mercedes out in SQ2: 'I have nothing...'

Another disappointing day for Mercedes and Toto Wolff. In Sprint Qualifying, both drivers were eliminated in SQ2, while Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg made it through to the final session of Friday. Lewis Hamilton was not happy with the result.

By only less than a tenth, both Mercedes drivers were out in SQ2. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished in P11 and P12 respectively. Over the team radio, Hamilton said that there was not much left in his car.

After the chequered flag, Hamilton voiced his opinion to his team over the team radio. "I've got nothing man...," the Briton commented. His engineer could not console his driver. "Yes, copy Lewis, yes so, we've been bumped."
