Bahrain weather forecast reveals: Verstappen is luckier than Lawson

The Bahrain International Circuit is the now usual host of the F1 pre-season tests, but to many fan's surprise, it began to rain in the desert. In colder weather and with rain droplets already arrived on Wednesday afternoon and also on Thursday morning. That does the weather look like for the rest of the weekend? Find out below!
While it is somewhat unexpected for many, Thursday began with rain on track in Sakhir. Over the course of the morning session, raindroplets could be seen on George Russell's and Oscar Piastri's visor immediately after they exited the pit lane, and later on, Lewis Hamilton also reported the same. What does this mean for the afternoon session?
There is a good chance of rain throughout the later session of the day as well. When the session gets underway at 3pm local time, there is an 80% chance of rain on track, according to the FIA's official weather channel. However, on Friday, it will take a turn for the better for the drivers.

Verstappen luckier than Lawson

On the final day, no rain at all is expected. The drivers will test in sunnier conditions, according to the federation's forecast. That especially can work out for Max Verstappen, as for Red Bull, Liam Lawson drives throughout the two sessions on Thursday, while then the Dutchman gets a double session a day later.
