Another update from Red Bull: new floor in Baku for more downforce

Red Bull Racing has brought back a number of track specific updates for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. In addition to the updates designed specifically for the high speed of the Baku City Circuit, there is also an update to the floor for added performance.

In 2022, it's a real development battle in Formula 1. With completely new regulations in place for this season, F1 teams are learning more and more about their new cars and it is constantly being tweaked with updates. Red Bull Racing does come up with some specific updates every race and this is the case again for the Baku GP.
For the upcoming Grand Prix, Red Bull has a new cooling system for the front brakes. There is also an additional attachment to the floor to make it more stable. In addition to those modifications that are specific to this circuit, Red Bull also has a new floor that should provide more downforce than the previous specification.

Big update package for Alpine

Ferrari is also bringing circuit specific updates this time. These include the rear wing that was also brought to Miami (but not used) and new mirrors. Mercedes has adjustments to the front wing, mirrors and rear wing.
Alpine has the biggest update package with them this weekend. It had been known for some time that the French racing stable would come with a major update, and the list that Auto, Motor und Sport has gotten its hands on shows that. Alpine has new side pods, a new rear wing, a modified front wing and also the 'Beam Wing' between the rear wing and the diffuser has been replaced.
