According to Clear, it was surprising to see Aston Martin start the season in such a disappointing way. In two weekends, the team is yet to complete a race with either of its cars.
The Briton also argues that Alonso is not the optimal driver to have in this situation.

Speaking to a betting site, he argued: "Alonso has done some things in cars that are unbelievable so clearly, he is still a huge talent in a car.
"If you had to choose a driver to help you fight your way out of this deep hole, Alonso isn’t going to be the one you're going to choose. That's my fear. This really doesn't play to his skill set," he cautiously concluded.
