Toro Rosso driver Alexander Albon was perhaps the Driver of the Day in China on Sunday - recording a second successive points finish for the Red Bull sister-team.
Albon held off late pressure from the Haas of Romain Grosjean to secure another top 10 finish for Toro Rosso, and the British-born Thai driver insisted the point was completely for the team, rather than personal gain.
"I felt great this weekend," Albon said to Ziggo Sport following the 1,000th F1 Grand Prix. "However, it was the Saturday crash that threw a spanner in the works, which was really my low point of the weekend.
"This point is really completely for the team, who made sure I had another great car at my disposal on Sunday. We ended up being able to show a lot of speed during the race, which made me disappointed on Saturday.
"I knew that I missed a huge opportunity, but I was able to restore it eventually. In the end, it was still exciting with Grosjean and those who stayed behind, but that went just fine."

Albon had a huge crash during FP3 on Saturday, a crash that took away his chance of qualifying for the race. The FIA confirmed on Saturday, that Albon would start from the pitlane because of the new chassis Toro Rosso had to fit.
