Valtteri Bottas is not happy after the Chinese Grand Prix. The Finn took pole position on Saturday but was immediately passed by Lewis Hamilton during the start. According to the Mercedes driver, he had bad luck during the start.
During the race, Bottas bumped into Charles Leclerc on the track. When Jack Plooij asked if he was surprised that Leclerc gave such resistance, Valtteri replied: "That's all fine. We are racing against each other and he was trying to defend his position. I think that's actually quite normal," he told Ziggo Sport.
Bottas was on pole but was passed by his teammate after a few meters. About his start, he said: "I lost the race during the start. I had a lot of wheel spin during the formation round and during the real start. I don't know if I could have done better, I have to look into that."
