"We know the allure of the Alfa Romeo brand here in the States"

Alfa Romeo looks ahead to the United States Grand Prix and hopes to regain points. The team hopes to do extra well in the US. There is a certain prestige for the team in the US and Kimi Raikkonen won his last race there.

Team principal Frédéric Vasseur said in the Alfa preview: “We approach the race in Austin with one objective in mind – getting back into the points. We scored in Russia and we went within two corners of doing the same in Turkey."

“I have some good memories of COTA", begins Alfa driver Raikkonen. "Of course, it was the place where I scored my last win so it’s a nice thing to look back to, but once I get into the car that doesn’t matter.

Both Raikkonen and teammate Antonio Giovinazzi will need to put their best foot forward after narrowly missing out on points in Turkey.
