Romain Grosjean is still recovering from his crash in Bahrain and his hand in particular is suffering badly. Nevertheless, the Frenchman would like to return to racing and America seems to be the best option for the former Haas driver.

Romain Grosjean has made no secret of the fact that, despite his departure from Formula 1, he would like to continue racing. The Frenchman has had a great career and has built up quite a CV with 10 podiums. That brings him to the attention of American teams.

Grosjean on his way to America

While it was previously reported that Grosjean was having doubts about a career in America, there are now rumours that the Frenchman will be driving IndyCar after all. After his extreme accident in Formula 1, Grosjean is said to have started doubting a career on Ovals and his opinion on the matter is still not certain.

Nevertheless, RACER reports that Grosjean is close to a deal with American company Dale Coyne Racing to compete in the Indycar championship in 2021. According to the medium, it would be a full season and not just the street and track races. However, there is still a chance that Grosjean will avoid the Ovals after all.
