With the Rich Energy saga bubbling away in the background, have Haas hinted that they'll change their Formula 1 car livery for the German Grand Prix weekend? Earlier today, in their one week to go countdown, Haas tweeted a picture which included their old livery.
Haas introduced the black and gold livery in the weeks before winter testing for the 2019 Formula 1 season. Last season, Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen drove a car with black, white, grey and red colours.
The American team has been involved in Formula 1 for four seasons. If they do change their livery, it won't be the first time they've done so. In the 2017 Formula 1 season, Haas added black (changed from red) for the Monaco Grand Prix and beyond.
A change of livery would move them away from the Rich Energy colours. A company which tweeted they had terminated their contract with Haas, despite the major shareholders wanting to continue their relationship. The contract remains intact, though Rich Energy renamed to Lightning Volt and William Storey is no longer involved.
