Formula E is set to make a return to the streets of London next season. The all-electric championship has announced plans to return to the capital with the worlds first indoor/outdoor street circuit.
The last London E-Prix took place around Battersea Park back in the 2015/16 season, with Nicolas Prost taking victory in both races one and two.
Weaving in and out of the ExCeL event centre in London, the circuit will have drivers race around the Royal Victoria Dock and will consist of 23 corners. The event will be a double-header however the circuit design is still subject to circuit homologation and approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
Taking place over from the 25th-26th July, the London E-Prix would likely take over from New York as hosting the final event of the 2019/20 season.
The next round of the championship will take place in Hong Kong on March 10th.
