This is the final starting grid for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix
Lando Norris starts the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position. It will not be easy for the Briton, as Oscar Piastri is chasing his first Grand Prix victory from P2. Max Verstappen will hope to capitalise on that duel from P3. View the final starting grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix here.
With Norris and Piastri, the front row of the grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix is fully occupied by McLaren. The British team won in Miami this season, after which several chances for a win were missed. With two drivers on the front row of the grid, wins are now needed in Hungary. Max Verstappen looks to be McLaren's biggest threat from P3.
Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will start behind the front trio. Ferrari and Mercedes do not seem to have the pace of the top three in Hungary, but a crazy race could just cause surprises.
Yuki Tsunoda will just start from P10 after his crash in qualifying. The team was able to repair his car without incurring a penalty. Pierre Gasly does start from the pit lane. The Frenchman received new engine parts ahead of the Grand Prix.
