F3 pole position for Van Hoepen, dramatic qualifying for Lindblad

Arvid Lindblad qualified in just 22nd place for the F3 feature race in Hungary after fellow Brit Luke Browing crashed out of the session, meaning Lindblad couldn't set another lap. Laurens Van Hoepen is on pole for the race. His ART teammate Nikola Tsolov joins him on the front row.

'This is crazy' said Christian Mansell as he took to the track. Sophia Floersch had a big spin early on, complaining of an undrivable car. The pack went out for the first flying lap before almost all of them returned to the pits after completing it. There was chaos once again in the second run. Dino Beganoivc was stuck in traffic, and many drivers struggled to get clean air to complete a lap. Arvid Lindblad sat in 19th place before his final run, with Leo Fornaroli topping the timesheets. The Trident driver couldn't improve his time, as ART drivers Laurens Van Hoepen and Nikola Tsolov improved locked out the front row of the grid. Championship contender and Brit Luke Browning crashed, causing a red flag. Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad qualified in just 22nd place as he was unable to set another lap.
