Filming of Formula 1 film Brad Pitt also during Belgian Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix was marked not only by the good performances of British Formula 1 drivers, but also by actor Brad Pitt. The American film actor and producer is starring in a new Formula 1 film. Filming took place in Silverstone, but it will also take place in Belgium and most likely in the Netherlands.

GPblog was present at the press conference at Spa-Francorchamps where it was announced that actor Pitt will also shoot during the Belgian Grand Prix. In just over two weeks, Formula 1 will head to Wallonia close to the East Cantons. Recently, sad news reached the motorsport world that Dilano van 't Hoff had died at Spa.

The filming of the Formula 1 movie was also to be made over the weekend at Zandvoort during the Dutch Grand Prix, Viaplay reported. So the first race after the summer break would feature an extra Formula One team. At Silverstone, Pitt and consorts were given their own pit box in which the car could be assembled.
