AlphaTauri AT04: how the team developed the car in past five years

AlphaTauri's 2023 car bears many similarities to last season's version. Despite this, we do see some changes to the details. How did development go over the past seasons?

The biggest change took place a few years ago. Whereas the team still went through life under the name of Toro Rosso in 2019, a year later it changed it to AlphaTauri. It meant the look of the car went completely upside down.

With the AT01, it presented a car in 2020 that featured mainly white and dark blue. Honda's name appeared in red letters on the side of the bolide. A year later, the formation decided to keep the same line.

Minor changes in last two years

The biggest change on the AT03 took place with the printing of the team name, which was now larger on the car. For the new season, because of title sponsor Orlen, we see red prominently featured on the AT04, while the front wing and halo are also a different colour. This month's test days in Bahrain should show how the car performs on track.
