At the moment my team is in the wars and I take that personally

Any guesses who said that quote? Claire Williams hits back at claims the Williams team have been in decline because she was promoted. In an interview with the New York Times, she talks about her anger at the poor results and how she desperately wants to turn things around.

"We never saw it coming. Clearly, it's been a big shock. It's like experiencing grief," Claire Williams said as she described her emotions following Williams' bad results.

"It is my team, it's very personal to me, and I've always said the team is like another sibling. I care for it deeply."

Their last World Champion Jacques Villeneuve said during the week that the team was dead. Williams talks about how she is struggling to cope with the disappointments. The tripleheader was tiring for everyone involved, but even more so for those in the Williams garage.

"At the moment, everything that comes feels like a body blow, particularly when we're at the end of a tripleheader, and you know the next race is going to be as bad as the previous one," she added.

Frank Williams was forced to step down with health issues. His daughter Claire stepped into the role and Williams are yet to win a race since she was made deputy team principal. She goes on to explain how hard this is to take.

"You never want to let your parents down. Dad has really put his trust in me. I'm always worried he is going to tell me to go home, but he doesn't."

It's a sad sight to see Williams lying low in the constructors' championship. As hard as its going to be, I don't think there's one person involved in the sport who doesn't want Williams turn around!
