Max Verstappen experienced a very successful season in 2021 with the world title as the highlight. However, it does not mean that the Dutchman will sit back in the future, as the Red Bull Racing driver is keen to prolong winning the world championship.

For years it seemed that Mercedes was unbeatable, but last season Verstappen showed with a dose of guts and perseverance that he could make things difficult for Lewis Hamilton. At the last Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, he even managed to take the top prize and call himself world champion.

Verstappen keeps expectations high

In the documentary Verstappen - Lion Unleashed by Viaplay, the Dutchman looks back once again on the turbulent season that took place in 2021. According to Verstappen, he deserved to win the world title for the entire season. However, he expects that he can perform even better.

"I think it's interesting to see how I've progressed. And I think there's still more in me," he revealed in the interview, after which he also stated that he will continue to make mistakes in the future. "I always say that you can never do everything perfectly."
