Jean Todt believes that winning the championship is 80% about the car and 20% about the driver. He believes that Charles Leclerc has the whole 20% of talent needed to win and that it is now up to Ferrari to give him the full 80% with a car that is competitive.
"Charles has to make sure he has the car and a team to ensure that he can win races," explains Jean Todt to La Gazette de Monaco.
“I wish for him to become a world champion because he really deserves it. But everything will depend on the car. "
“I believe that winning the championship is eighty percent dependent on the car and twenty percent dependent on the driver. Charles has all those twenty percent.”

Will 2020 be Leclerc's year?

Ferrari are reported to have fundamentally changed the design of their car and will hope that they can give Leclerc the equipment to go out and compete for the championship next season.
