The first European round of the 2026 season is set to take place at the iconic Circuito de Jerez in Andalusia this weekend in what promises to be a crucial battle in the MotoGP World Championship.
After the opening three rounds, Aprilia's
Marco Bezzecchi finds himself at the
top of the rider's standings after setting a new record for consecutive laps led, picking up three straight wins on every Sunday so far.
Marc Marquez is still chasing his first Sunday podium this year. Though he has picked up decent results in the sprint races so far this season, he will be looking to make his mark with a solid points haul in Jerez to
bring the challenge to Aprilia.
VR46's Fabio Di Giannantonio will also be one to watch this weekend. The Italian has started the season in great form, picking up two pole positions in the first three races.
