MotoGP Dutch Sprint Results: Fernandez defeats Ogura in stunning Assen sprint

Trackhouse Racing secured a memorable 1-2 finish in the Dutch GP sprint race in Assen. Raul Fernandez took the victory ahead of his younger Japanese teammate Ai Ogura.
Jorge Martin started well from pole position but quickly had his hands full with the Trackhouse duo of Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura. An early mistake from Marco Bezzecchi dropped him back to fifth as he came under pressure from Marc Marquez. Still not racing at 100%, the reigning world champion was then passed by his teammate, Pecco Bagnaia, and had to fight to hold off Tech3's Enea Bastianini.
Ogura then passed Di Giannantonio spectacularly through the final chicane and began to close town his teammate, but Fernandez held on to claim his second sprint win of the season.
Bagnaia was handed a penalty for exceeding track limits on the final lap, dropping him back to P7 and promoting Marquez to P6.
