Brian Uriate takes maiden Moto3 win after incredible race in Mugello

It was another classic Moto3 race this year at the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello as several different riders traded the lead from start to finish.
MLAV Racing's Joel Kelso made an excellent start to overtake pole-sitter Hakim Danish on the opening lap. In typical Moto3 fashion, it was a group of eight riders who broke away to form a lead group, with the lead continually changing almost every time they entered into Turn 1.
Britain's Eddie O'Shea rode an incredible race and looked very comfortable as he made up places and took the lead from Adrian Fernandez on Lap 12 and managed to stay in the mix until the very end.
Championship leader Maximo Quiles had to work his way through the field after qualifying in 15th. it took the young Spaniard just six laps to get himself to the lead.
In the end it was rookie Brian Uriate who took a memorable victory, but it really could have gone to any of the top eight riders.

Finland's Rico Salmela was the onyl crasher of the session while Casey O'Gorman was forced to retire with a technical issue.
